Jayde Adams: Here’s One I Culturally Appropriated Earlier (Work in Progress)
Off the back of her “brilliant, career making” (★★★★★ The Metro) 2019 show ‘The Ballad of Kylie Jenner’s Old Face’ Jayde Adams is writing a new one and is bringing it to The Finsbury Pub to practice on the beautiful people of London! Like many white people before her (desperately clinging onto social relevance), Jayde Adams has travelled the world absorbing cultures on a journey of self-discovery. Digging around in her family tree, her father uncovered a disappointing secret, the Adams bloodline has only ever resided in Bristol. Can Jayde Adams stay relevant in an age of multiculturalism or is it time to wheel out her half Chinese brother?

The List Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominee for Best Newcomer
Nic Sampson: Marathon, 1904 (Work in Progress)
Award-winning New Zealand comedian Nic Sampson presents his epic new stand up show about one
of the dumbest sporting events of all time. On a blistering hot afternoon in August 1904, thirty two athletes representing four nations entered the third Olympic Marathon in St. Louis. Only fourteen finished. What happened in between was a perfect storm of rank incompetence, unforgivable stupidity, brazen cheating, wild dogs, and rat poison. This is a true story.
