Hook Up Culture is London's flirtiest night out! Our mixed bill cabarets are a warm embrace of a night: comedy, music, poetry, open mic and whatever else we feel like, hosted by your new besties model/poet Charlie Brogan and singer/writer Laila Woozeer.

We want to celebrate the joy, thrill, and fun of romance. Whether you’re feeling jaded over one too many Bumble meltdowns, looking to commiserate over yet another Mx Wrong, or feeling the anticipatory thrill after a really flirty first date, this is the night for you.

Open Mic: You can sign up on the day but we recommend contacting in advance (here, or via Instagram or our website) to make sure you get a slot: first come first served!

Charity: All ticket profits go to charity - the chosen charity changes each night!

Music Minds Matter Fundraiser — The Finsbury, 24th November 2024

Experience a powerful evening of folk music at The Finsbury in aid of Music Minds Matter, with performances by three standout emerging artists. Will Pope, the headliner, brings his unique blend of intricate fingerstyle guitar and soul-stirring vocals. Known for recent performances alongside Alex Francis at St Pancras Old Church and supporting Grammy-winning Paula Cole at Union Chapel, Will’s music captures the heart with both raw emotion and refined technique.

Joining him are The Halfway Kid (Saeed Gadir), whose music tells stories with warmth, humor, and a touch of Sudanese soul, and Ella Clayton, an enchanting singer-songwriter from London, sharing new material solo.

This special night is in aid of Music Minds Matter, a charity devoted to supporting the mental wellbeing of those in the music industry. Providing 24/7 support through a helpline, Music Minds Matter offers access to counseling, financial guidance, and emotional resources for those navigating the industry’s challenges.
